Insulated Glass

Insulated glass unit consists of two or more pieces of glass separated by a desiccant-filled aluminum spacer and a gas-filled chamber. These units have excellent thermal insulation, provide good sound resistance and can prevent condensation.

Insulated glass units can incorporate Low-E coated glass, laminated glass, tempered glass and ceramic fritted glass to produce an effective energy-efficient product for buildings, windows and various other applications.

These insulated glass panels and windows are available in a variety of sizes, colors, shapes and thermal insulation performances to meet the needs of different applications.

Low-E Coated Glass

Low-E (Low Emissivity) glass is a coated product with excellent thermal insulation performance and good visible light transmittance. It is the preferred product for building insulation because it allows occupants to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures regardless of the weather outside. It can reflect ultraviolent light and heat energy without compromising on visible light transmission, thus helping to reduce the cost of summer cooling and winter heating.

XYG has the technology to manufacture single-silver, double-silver and triple-silver low-E glass depending on visible light transmissivity, shading coefficient, low reflectivity and other performance requirements as needed. Low-E coated glass is commonly used in insulated glass units.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a high-grade safety glass formed after an adhesive interlayer of either PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) or SGP (SentryGlas Plus) is placed between two or more pieces of glass to bind together under high temperature and pressure.

Tempered Glass

A type of tough, durable and heat-resistant glass that comes with safety attributes – tempered glass is ideal for a variety of applications. This is a type of safety glass that has undergone heat treatment and rapid cooling to make it 4 times stronger than regular annealed glass.

XYG produces a wide range of custom tempered glass with different thicknesses, colors and curvature, depending on your needs and applications.

Ceramic Fritted Glass

Ceramic fritted glass is produced by printing a layer of ceramic frit through a silk screen or printing digitally onto the glass surface. XYG can print unique designs with highly customizable frit patterns, depending on project needs. Some applications include bird-friendly glass and insulated glass units for decorative purposes.
