Sales Executive


  • College and/or university degree in business or a related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience;
  • Sales experience in both Canada and US market an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers;
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities;
  • Proactive and quick to learn;
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate results; determine creative and strategic approaches in winning business opportunities;
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), negotiation and decision making skills;
  • Qualified to work under sales target pressure;
  • Ability to travel within North America;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify growth and expansion areas with existing accounts;
  • Own the overall business relationships with assigned customers, which includes managing the on-boarding experience and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Establish a trusted relationship with customers and act as a strategic advisor to help drive continued value of our products and services;
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting them;
  • Review the customer journey, taking a consultative approach in helping customers overcome issues and achieve goals;
  • Identify new potential customers and the strategy to approach and obtain business with new customers;
  • Travel to meet with customers and determine customers’ business needs and goals;
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, study competitors and collect market intelligence;
  • Develop and present tailored solutions to customers;
  • Prepare presentations and reports to introduce our products and the associated market advantages;
  • Discover ways to increase revenue and meet sales targets;
  • Help determine pricing and other commercial terms + conditions while drafting contracts/agreements;
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver an overall pleasant commercial experience to customers;
  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.
